For private investors and family offices
Add a new dimension to your portfolio. Springvest gives private individuals and family offices easy access to promising unlisted Finnish technology companies with strong growth and value creation potential.
Two ways to invest in growth
Funding rounds
Select the companies you want to back and participate in their funding rounds. Springvest runs 8–10 time-bound rounds each year across different technology sectors. You don’t need prior investment experience – the platform guides you every step of the way.
Springvest share
Access a ready-made, diversified portfolio of growth companies. After each funding round, Springvest takes a minority stake in the company, giving Springvest shareholders indirect exposure to a portfolio of approximately 40 Finnish technology companies.
Companies from previous rounds
Desentum is developing a new type of immunotherapy for allergies that may enable a shift from managing symptoms to treating the disease.
ReOrbit manufactures sovereign software-first satellites and connected systems for national security.
Solar Foods is commercializing a novel food protein called Solein, produced from carbon dioxide and electricity.
CurifyLabs automates local compounding in pharmacies and hospital pharmacies through its technology.
Why consider private market investments?
Higher risk, higher potential returns
Investments in unlisted growth companies are long-term commitments, with returns typically realised at exit – such as a trade sale or an IPO. If a company delivers on its growth targets, the return on investment can be substantial. That said, invested capital can also be lost entirely. Diversification is key to managing this risk.
Early access to emerging technologies
Growth companies are building disruptive solutions that have the potential to reshape entire industries. Investors gain exposure to new technologies and markets before they reach broader scale.
A different way to build your portfolio
Returns from private companies follow the progress of the business – not the ups and downs of the market.
Over time, this can help bring greater balance to your portfolio.
According to the survey, the most common reasons to invest in Springvest’s portfolio companies are the companies’ return potential, interest in learning something new, and portfolio diversification. As many as 60 percent of investors consider diversification important.”
