We offer SPRING shareholders an easy way to diversify their equity portfolio into unlisted companies.
Our shareholders get a straightforward way to own a diversified portfolio of unlisted growth companies – with liquidity, and with the added return potential of possible exits. Our portfolio currently includes around 40 Finnish growth companies with strong return potential.
We aim to distribute at least 80% of our profit and exit proceeds to shareholders.
A strong market position at the forefront of the Finnish growth company ecosystem
The formula behind our successful business is simple. Each year, out of a few hundred candidates, we select around 8–10 of the most promising unlisted growth companies for funding rounds, and our specialists present these rounds to growth investors.
We offer growth companies an efficient, clear way to raise €5–12 million in growth financing, knowing exactly when the funding round starts and ends. Of the more than 100 funding rounds we have arranged, 100% have succeeded, meaning they reached at least their minimum funding target.
Alongside equity financing, we help our portfolio companies build funding packages that combine public grants and subsidies with debt financing. This enables faster growth with lower financial risk.
According to our client data, our growth investors are typically successful entrepreneurs, family businesses and equity investors who diversify their portfolios into unlisted companies. We offer them high-quality deal flow free of charge through our growth investing platform and more than 20 skilled growth investment specialists.
We believe strongly in personal service for investors and in working closely with other players in the growth company ecosystem.
Growing portfolio holdings drive shareholder value
Springvest’s single most important driver of shareholder value is its growing portfolio holdings. We are known as the funding partner of leading companies in the Finnish growth company ecosystem, and after each funding round we stay on as a minority shareholder in every company we help fund.
Two-thirds of our portfolio companies are in health technology and environmental technology, and several are well positioned for an international breakthrough. Our job is to help these promising Finnish growth companies reach their goals and change the world for the better.
